In the 2026/27 season, Oscar Jockel makes his debuts at the PyeongChang Festival with a tour in South Korea with Mahler 4th Symphony, with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, and at Opernhaus Zürich, where he will conduct the new production of Péter Eötvös’ Angels in America with the Musikkollegium Winterthur. Further invitations will take him back to the Brussels Philharmonic, Prague Philharmonia, the Remix Ensemble, and the Sinfonieorchester Casa da Música in Porto.

Premieres of his own works will be presented during the season at the Kölner Philharmonie with the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln (a commission for the Orchestra Academy), at the Berliner Philharmonie (a work for percussion and organ), and at several venues of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO), including the Wiener Konzerthaus, with the premiere of a new string quartet.

Compositions currently in progress include works for the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig, the Ars Electronica in Linz, the Händel-Festspiele Halle, the Mozarteum University and a solo work for the pianist Filippo Gorini.

Previous commissions range from works for solo instruments to sound installations and orchestral works, for example for the Philharmonie Berlin, the Vienna Musikverein, the Quatuor Diotima (Brucknerhaus Linz), the Salzburg Easter Festival and the Bruckner Orchestra Linz.
